Should I be a district governor - 2 project - Turkey

Funded by the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Civil Society Relations, "Should I be a District Governor-2" project has reached the implementation stage. The project will be implemented by Turkish Association of Governors in cooperation with TIAV (Turkish Administrative Research Foundation). It will be put into practice within the framework of the calendar that will be formed according to the replies of the letters sent to universities.

Occupational introduction seminars will be held at the universities planned within the scope of the project, and students will be asked to fill out questionnaires. These surveys will be evaluated and the results will be published.

40 students, who will be selected by lot among the applicants who will make their requests via the application pages opened on the Association’s website, will be hosted in Ankara and participate in a program where the Ministry, Governorship and District Governorship visits and cultural trips will be made.

The first online conference at TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) University of Economics and Technology on Sunday, March 28 was held with the participation of Saffet Arıkan Bedük, President of the Turkish Association of Governors, Assoc.Prof. Selim Çapar, TOBB University graduate Başkale District Governor Asım Solak, TOBB University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Sarınay and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Kırca.
