AERTE and ANFACI are very much engaged in the organization of the “XXVIIth European Days of State Territorial Representatives”, that will take place in Florence, from 28th to 30th October 2021. 

The meeting will be held in “Palazzo Vecchio”, the famous Florence’s town hall and, in particular, in the marvelous “Salone dei Cinquecento”, one of its grandest and most imposing rooms, constructed in 1494 and filled with large frescoes depicting battles and military victories. 

Because of its great historical importance, the Municipality of Florence reserves this prestigious hall just for very special events.  

The temporary program of the European Days includes reports of important scholars and colleagues, concerning two different and delicate matters. 

The first part of the meeting will be dedicated to the “State strategies for the safety of cities and for the protection of cultural heritage and natural resources”, whereas the second part will concern the role of State Territorial Representatives in the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, including a special focus on “The relationship between democratic freedoms and health safety”.

The Association is also organizing a special and very interesting program for accompanying persons, who will discover and enjoy Florence’s magic atmosphere.
